As our **Human Resources Assistant**, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our HR department by effectively assisting with day-to-day HR operations, maintaining employee records, assisting with new employee onboarding and maintaining HR policies and compliance.

**About the Role and You**

**Contract type**:Full-time, permanent, Monday to Thursday 8:30am to 5:30am and Fridays 8:30am to 4:00pm.

**Salary**: £24,000 to £28,000 per annum, dependent on experience.

**Start date**: Immediate start available.

Your main responsibilities will include:
**Administrative Support**:

- Assist with the day-to-day operations of the HR department, including filing, data entry and maintaining employee records.
- Schedule interviews, meetings and appointments as needed.

**Onboarding**:

- Assist with onboarding new employees, including conducting orientation sessions and processing new hire paperwork.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of employee information and documentation.

**Benefits Administration**:

- Assist employees with benefits enrolment, changes and enquiries.
- Coordinate with insurance providers and other vendors to administer employee benefits programs.
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements related to employee benefits.

**HR Policies and Compliance**:

- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Stay up to date on relevant employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Provide support in handling employee relations issues and investigations as needed.

**Reporting and Analysis**:

- Prepare reports and analytics related to HR metrics, such as turnover rates, time and attendance, and recruitment statistics.
- Assist in analysing data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement.

**Employee Relations**:

- Serve as a point of contact for all employees regarding HR-related inquiries and concerns.
- Assist in resolving employee issues and conflicts through effective communication and problem-solving.

**About you**

We are looking for someone with:

- Bachelor’s degree from a recognised UK institution (essential).
- At least 1 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Solid understanding of HR practices, employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and
- CIPD qualification (desirable).
