Administrator/document Controller

Costain is looking to strengthen its operations team with an **Administrator/Document Controller** to work on our CMDP framework with Southern Water.
CMDP is a joint venture between MWH Treatment and Costain and will deliver a range of schemes to maintain and improve Southern Water’s water supply and wastewater treatment works in the eastern half of its region (Kent, Hampshire & East Sussex).
Based at the Falmer (Brighton) office, you will provide Administration & Document Control services to the operational team who are currently using Microsoft SharePoint ® and Bentley ProjectWise to store and manage project and non-project documents.
You will report directly to the Information Systems Manager and the **key responsibilities** will include:
Regularly attend sites across the CMDP geographical region spanning Hampshire, Sussex, Kent & Isle of Wight
Review, management and uploading of documents held on sites for projects
Uploading and management of documents within the eDMS in line with best practice standards
Championing of document management processes and systems within the project environment
Administration of user profiles and workspaces within eDMS systems
Understanding and adhere to legal, contract, Southern Water and CMDP document management requirements
Carry out other project and non-project related activities as required
**About You**
Proven experience in administration/document control function
High level of competence in the use of Microsoft Office suite
Technical systems administration experience of Bentley ProjectWise (access management, configuration, etc)
Previous experience in a similar role in a construction or related industry
Highly organised with an attention to detail, ability to plan site visits and prioritise own workload, able to work effectively to deadlines
Ability to communicate effectively with peers and senior engineers in both verbal and written form
Good interpersonal skills and team worker
Full UK driving licence, access to a vehicle and the ability to travel within the central and western Southern Water region - travel time Falmer to/from site should be no more than 1.5hrs on a regular basis (longer by exception only)
Attendance at base office in Falmer, Brighton when no site visits scheduled
