**TEXO Recruitment are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant, on behalf of TEXO Group on a permanent basis, in Westhill, Aberdeenshire.**

**Purpose of the Role**:
The Accounts Assistant plays an integral part of the finance team to assist with maintaining an efficient and accurate function for Texo Group.

This is predominantly through assisting the department in maintaining and processing of all bank transactions, maintenance of cash tracker, all purchase and sales ledger processing, credit control, management of purchase ledger and payroll cover along with other finance functions within Texo Group.

**Area(s) of Responsibility**:

- The Accounts Assistant will be responsible for accurately processing all the transactions for the ledgers - purchase, sales and bank.
- As part of their role, they will also be helping with payroll (including holiday cover) and processing of timesheets.
- In addition to the daily processing, duties for purchase ledger, will include for example - statement reconciliations, creation of supplier payment runs, answering supplier queries, credit control, sending monthly statements etc
- In addition to the daily processing, duties for treasury, will include for example - bank reconciliations, maintenance of daily cash tracker and assisting with updating/maintaining 13 week cashflow tracker etc
- There will be ad hoc work as and when required within the busy finance department.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Processing Timesheets
- Payroll cover for holidays
- Cashier duties - processing bank transactions, bank reconciliations etc
- Processing of purchase invoices
- Raising and processing sales invoices
- Purchase ledger reconciliations to statements etc
- Sales ledger reconciliations
- Ad Hoc finance work

**Qualifications and Experience**
- A good working knowledge of cashier duties.
- Knowledge/Experience of payroll would be beneficial but not essential
- Working with timesheets would be beneficial but not essential
- Experience in working in a fast-paced finance department essential
- Purchase and sales ledger processing essential
- A working knowledge of purchase order processing would be advantageous but not essential

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £30,000.00 per year
