Accounts Payable Assistant

FinTech RS are recruiting on behalf of our client for an Accounts Payable Assistant based in Westhill, Aberdeenshire. This is a permanent, full-time position, with Hybrid working available.
**Main duties include**:
- Processing of purchase/supplier invoices and recording on internal systems, matching to relevant purchase orders and ensuring correct codings, VAT, etc
- Checking and processing Employee Expense claims, including accurate VAT
- Setting up new suppliers with all required information, or update details to existing suppliers as required
- Handle any Supplier queries in a timely manner
- Assisting with monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Assisting with month-end close duties and any other adhoc tasks to assist the team as required
- Adhering to company compliance policies and procedures at all times
- Previous experience in a similar role (Desirable).
- Any recognised Higher/Further education level qualifications in Accounting/Finance related (Desirable).
- Organised approach, with the ability to multi-task and deliver high quality work against time constraints
- Attention to detail.
- Good verbal and written communication.
- Ability to work independently and as a team player.
- Willingness to learn and commitment to professional development

**Salary**: £20,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
