**about this role**

The People Coordinator is a fundamental role in the seamless running of the People function, supporting the People team. The People Coordinator will be responsible for the effective and efficient administration of onboarding and offboarding, employee lifecycle experience, preparing contracts, reporting on people data via a HRIS platform and will act as the go-to person for general HR enquiries.

**a day in the life**
- Analyse data to build reports via a HRIS platform
- Build relationships to enhance the internal culture of PANGAIA
- Navigate and respond to day-to-day queries such as policy guidelines, benefits and recruitment activities and where necessary directing queries to other team members
- Administration and coordination of HR tasks such as new starter processes, leavers, contracts & contract updates, and supporting People Partners & People Director with people-related tasks
- Assisting with payroll processing information
- Responsible for working alongside our Workplace Experience Specialist to ensure smooth delivery of onboarding days for new starters
- Training new starters on our HRIS platform ensuring sound understanding of its function and capabilities
- Visa processing for new and existing employees
- Communicating and reporting on employee feedback surveys as part of our PANGAIA employee engagement initiatives
- Coordination of learning & development strategy including working with external training providers to coordinate training sessions and communicating these to the wider business
- Support with the monthly Town Hall producing people update slides and presenting these to the wider business
- Ensure compliance with company process, data protection requirements and HR systems and records best practices
- Complete ad-hoc duties and projects as and when required

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience within a people support function
- Comfortable managing multiple tasks and manage workload effectively
- Experience working with a HRIS
- Experience with recruitment administration, additional but not required, experience in conducting interviews
- Strong written, presentation and verbal communication skills as well as being detail-oriented
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to build trusting relationships and act with discretion
- Communicates with honesty and kindness, creating the space for others to do the same.
