Job Description

**TRANSPARENCY & EXECUTIVE SUPPORT ADMINISTRATOR**

**Permanent contract. This is a full-time post of 37 hours per week. Part time hours will be considered.**

**Based at Harpenden, Hertfordshire. **The office is ideally placed for commuting; close to Harpenden Train Station with direct services to London Kings Cross and St Pancras International in just 23 minutes. Close to Junctions 9 and 10 of the M1.

**Salary**:£25,713** **per annum + generous Local Government Pension and generous annual leave entitlement.***

This is an exciting opportunity to work for the Police and Crime Commissioner for Hertfordshire. In this role you will be responsible for
- Administration of tasks including updating of relevant systems, e.g., enquiries database, website, and responding to legislative changes within the OPCC.
- Uploading and updating publication of required information.
- Administering Freedom of Information (FOI) requests, identifying issues and briefing senior staff.
- Procurement of local goods such as stationery.
- Answering phones and managing a variety of complex enquires from partners and the public.
- Responding to correspondence within inboxes both orally and in writing.
- Management of incoming correspondence such as post.
- Providing support such as setting up computers and telephones for meetings.
- Diary support for senior staff.
- Other general office administration tasks as required.

You will be expected to act with a high degree of integrity and display motivation, commitment and perseverance in all tasks. The entry requirements are
- Strong administration skills with demonstrable experience in the use of IT, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel) as well as other databases.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently being able to manage own workload.
- Ability to work in an environment and manage complex sensitive information.
