Butler Rose Public Practice and delighted to be partnering with our client, a well-known and established Top 40 accounting firm based in the heart of St Albans, that are keen to appoint a Probate Executive to complement the existing probate team.

Role Requirements
Assisting with the estate administration process, including preparing letters and forms to close accounts and sell shares.
Liaising with HMRC, HMCTS and third parties, as required.
Comfortable with liaising with clients and third parties but identifies and refers any technical queries to partners, directors, or managers.
Assisting with the preparation of trust and estate tax returns and beneficiary statements R185 for the administration period and 60 Day UK Property CGT returns.

Person Requirements
- At least 1 years' experience in a tax/probate related role working for a UK based accounting firm with a basic understanding of inheritance tax, computations, and the probate process.
Experience of preparing estate accounts desirable but not necessary.
Proficient in the use of tax relate software to ideally include CCH
