A busy fast paced and interesting company that deal with some of the world’s leading brands are looking for an organised and detail orientated Administrator to join a supportive team.
You’ll be based in the office in Harpenden, which is in one of the industrial business centres; therefore, your own transport would be advantageous; free parking is offered.
The company employ around 45 people and they are committed to growing the business. This is a newly created role and gives you the opportunity to make the role your own.
You will take responsibility for the administration and coordination of Integrated Compliance Management system. The purpose of this role is to administer and coordinate the ongoing maintenance and improvement of the Company’s Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety Management System.

**Key Responsibilities for the Compliance Administrator**:
- You will be responsible for developing dynamic and relevant monthly communications on quality and environmental aspects to the core team across the business and aid in compliance to achieve the conformance of standard requirements
- Provide support to internal and external auditors
- Develop and maintain up-to-date knowledge of applicable requirements, regulations, legislation, issues and news with respect to the applicable international standards: ISO 9001 and ISO14001, SEDEX, Eco Vadis and Cyber Essentials
- Manage the Company’s administrative arrangements for regular Quality and Environmental Management system meetings, including collation of meeting agendas, preparation of minutes etc
- Act as point of contact for all internal and external audit suppliers
- Visiting production sites when necessary to carry out Compliance/H&S paperwork checks
- Ensuring all aspects of Health and Safety policies procedures are implemented and maintained
- Liaising with Production Managers and H&S consultants to ensure all risk, COSHH assessments, and other legal requirements are maintained and up to date
- Updating H&S Policy and procedures with any legislative changes/updates
- Assist in all investigations and reporting of any accidents at HO or production sites
- First point of contact for all production sites in relation to stock ordering
- Maintain a filing system for all relevant machinery maintenance/ certification
- Responsible for collating all information required for Commercial and Car insurance renewals,
- Implement and maintain a tracker system for all insurances, including Company car MOT’s etc
**For this Compliance Administrator role, they are looking for**:
- An understanding of, or knowledge of the requirements of ISO 9001 (Quality Management) and ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) Standards
- Proven organisational, multitasking and time management skills
- Self-starter who demonstrates a ‘can do’ attitude and prepared to support other colleagues to meet the requirement outcome/tasks
- Strong communication skills and have excellent fluency in spoken and written English
- Competent in all Microsoft products including Outlook, Excel, Word and minute taking skills would be advantageous
- Experience of Databases/CRM systems
- IOSH qualification or knowledge of H&S practices/procedures would be advantageous
