Norse Group has an exciting opportunity for an Employee Relations Consultant to join our HR team. This role is based in our new Head Office in Norwich.

**The Role**

As an Employee Relations Consultant, you will be working as part of a dynamic and effective team who deliver expert and person-centred employee relations advice, support, and guidance across the business.

The Norse Group offers a broad range of services, including facilities management, property services and specialist care facilities. This variety offers a great opportunity for someone looking to further develop their skills and expertise within a varied and diverse business.

**The Role will require you to**:

- Manage complex cases, ensuring managers are supported with all aspects of employee relations, such as absence, capability, grievance, and disciplinary matters
- Coach, guide and influence a range of stakeholders to get improved outcomes across the business
- Work in line with agreed SLAs utilising a new case management system to deliver an excellent customer service
- Monitor and review HR policies and practices to ensure they are in line with best practice and current legislation
- Be adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced environment

Therefore, in addition, the postholder will have the opportunity to contribute to key HR projects to improve employee relations across the business.
- An ability to work autonomously and proactively to manage case work and meet key SLA's
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to form effective working relationships across all levels of the business
- An ability to work effectively with colleagues and contribute to the wider aims and strategies
- A Level 5 CIPD qualified or be part-qualified
- An understanding of HR functions and system
- A full UK Driving Licence, as this role will involve occasional travel
