Employee Development Manager, Norse Group

Description of Job:
The position of Employee Development Manager exists to support the development of existing and potential future employees by working closely with them to understand their needs, preferences, and strengths. Key responsibilities include designing and implementing programs that facilitate knowledge sharing and skill building among employees, promoting internal mobility and career advancement opportunities, creating effective communication channels between departments, identifying and addressing skill gaps, fostering a culture of continuous learning, and developing policies and procedures related to training and employee development. Main Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with department heads and other stakeholders to identify training needs and develop targeted training programs.
  • Deliver presentations, workshops, and training sessions to various groups within the company.
  • Mentor and coach employees to improve their performance and advance their careers.
  • Collaborate with HR to implement recruitment strategies and enhance the overall employee experience.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of employee development programs and recommend changes as needed.
