Job Description: Employee Relations Advisor

We have an exciting opportunity for an Employee Relations Advisor to join our People Team at Saffron Housing. The successful candidate will help to deliver a professional and effective people advisory service to managers and colleagues.

The estimated salary for this role is around £38,000 per annum, taking into account the location and industry standards.

About the Job:

  • Deliver people specific change programmes, managing risk and ensuring that colleagues are supported throughout.
  • Promote delivery of EDI and wellbeing approaches and build associated capability and confidence in managers to ensure these are embedded across policies, procedures and practices to support the creation of culture of inclusion and belonging.
  • Advise leaders and managers on delivery of the organisational performance framework including objective setting, appraisals and regular development conversations.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum Level 5 CIPD qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Evidence of commitment to Continued Professional Development (CPD).
  • Demonstrable HR Advisory experience with an employee relations background.
  • Supporting people change processes.
  • Coaching hiring managers on recruitment, selection and onboarding approaches.
  • Designing and delivering learning programmes to enhance manager capability.
  • Identifying and implementing pragmatic EDI approaches and/or wellbeing solutions.
