**Job summary**:
Pathology at UHB has an exciting opportunity for 2 Quality Administrators to support the quality team. One post is full-time 37.5 hours per week and the second is part-time, 3 days per week. Responsibility is to provide a comprehensive and varying range of administrative duties to support the Specialty across all sites of UHB. Applicants must have all essential requirements outlined in the person specification, with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills and, be able to work with limited, potentially remote supervision.

You will have a professional approach with excellent communication skills and will work closely with a diverse range of professionals within Pathology, Trust and wider. You must have the ability to work autonomously, flexibly and as part of a team. You will need to be able to effectively deliver on time, complex tasks requiring meticulous attention to detail and have the ability to work and respond well under pressure. You will possess excellent I.T. skills and be able to collate, monitor and manage data from spreadsheets and databases. Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages is essential; organisation of online meetings including meeting document requirements i.e. agenda, minutes, updating documents. Experience with DATIX, MOODLE, EASYLEARNING and QMS systems is desirable.

**Main duties, tasks & skills required**:
To provide secretarial and administrative support to the Quality Manager. Both posts include compiling of data and information form the Quality Management System, transfer of data from electronic systems, arranging Pathology wide meetings, managing calendars, preparing agendas, and taking and transcribing minutes. You will be based in a busy office environment within Pathology and will liaise with all staff over matters relating to quality management. As such, this will include cross-site working.

You will also support the Deputy Quality Managers, and on occasions support Departmental Quality Leads. The post holder will aid and support the Pathology Quality Management System, which incorporates clinical governance and risk management. You will also be involved in providing data to support laboratory audits as well as accreditation and inspection visits by external bodies.

**Essential**:

- Good General Education (eg. GCSE English and Maths A-C) GCSE Level 9-4
- Business Administration NVQ level 3 or equivalent experience in an administrative environment

**Experience**:
**Essential**:

- Experience of dealing with the Public/Customer service experience
- Experience of working with a range of Microsoft Office packages (eg. Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Experience of using IT systems

**Desirable**:

- Experience of working in a busy environment
- Experience of working in Healthcare
