**Job summary**:
Here at Defence Medical Rehabilitation Centre (DMRC), we are inclusive and dedicated, working to provide excellent care to our entitled personnel.
We are looking for a friendly, well-organised and adaptable AO Administration Officer to join our encouraging and welcoming team of dedicated military and civilian healthcare professionals and administrative staff at Stanford Hall in Loughborough.
The position offers 37 hours per week.

**Job description**:
**Person specification**:
- Ensuring the smooth and efficient provision of medical administration for all patients under the DMRC Stanford Hall mTBI Department through the referral, assessment, admission and discharge consistent with department Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Assisting other staff members when required. Assist with the training of new administrative staff. Ensure monitoring of equipment (photocopier, fax etc.) and any operating problems reported.
- Preparing all necessary paperwork for clinics at least one week ahead of time and be present to deal with arrival and discharge processes during the clinic.
- Ensuring that all the relevant data has been entered onto DMICP/DPTA to guarantee adequate patient tracking throughout the referral, appointment, admission, discharge and any external agency intervention that are part of the patient care pathway.
- Being responsible for Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) practices by delivering evidence-based practice consistent with Unit IPC SOPs. Promote, challenge and sustain the IPC vision of delivering harm-free care.
