We are a dynamic, successful and ambitious media company, with a range of market-leading publications reporting on the global gambling industry through our signature brand, Gambling Insider.

We are looking for a **Publishing Assistant **to join our team on a full time basis. **This would be ideal for anyone interested in media (print & digital) / events / publishing**.

**About the role**

Your duties would include, but not be limited to, the following:

- Proofing magazines and digital bulletins to ensure all content and pages are correct
- Printing and organising proofing books
- Working with the design and editorial teams to implement changes
- Uploading all pages for magazines on proofing system, liaising with the print company if any issues, rejecting and swapping pages, making sure to print off any revised pages so they match in the book
- Creative sizing and making into print-ready PDFs
- Working with sales team to agree positioning of client advertisements in the magazines
- Keeping records/copies of Insertion Orders
- Making the print PDFs into app PDFs using the partner site (MagazineCloner) and adding contents and hyperlinks.
- Regularly checking the flatplans, and suggesting any changes if necessary.

Other duties:

- Ad hoc work for CEO /COO
- General office administration
- Organising all post including sending out first copies of B2B magazines to new subscribers, which involves getting the names from a spreadsheet and producing letters for the CEO to sign and send with them.
- Booking courier collections to send sample magazines to various shows around the world and tracking them
- Dealing with subscriber enquiries working with the IT manager to resolve issues
