We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Apprentice Business Administrator.

You will be a part of our Academy team, within the HR department. You will ensure all Southern Co-op colleagues receive excellent service. As a key member of the Academy team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the training department’s operations. You will get involved in a wide range of tasks from coordinating courses, booking events and managing the day-to-day mailbox. It is a varied role with more responsibility being given gradually; you will work closely with all members of the team and be given full training and support throughout your time on the Apprenticeship.

This role is based at our head office in Portsmouth. We’re offering an 18 months fixed term contract working Monday to Thursday 9am to 5pm & Friday 9am to 4pm. The office has great amenities with free onsite parking and a shuttle bus service.

**What to expect**
- Serve as the first point of contact for the Academy team and share relevant information and updates with team members and key people
- Co-ordinate training events putting them on our Academy Hub (learning management system) to ensure it displays the correct information in a timely manner
- Schedule meetings and manage electronic calendars
- Collect attendance and report this to managers within the business
- Order the materials/resources to support learning and development
- Support the digital maintenance and learning records on the Academy Hub for all colleagues and work experience accounts
- Ensure that relevant policies and procedures are being followed
- Maintain the general housekeeping of our training and storage facilities
- Upload on the system and distribute the certificates gained from internal and external training and development
- Assist in the collection and analysis of training data including feedback and generate reports as needed to track training effectiveness
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of training processes and procedures. Identify opportunities to streamline ways of working and enhance the efficiency of all training areas
- Organise training venues, catering, zoom accounts, invitations, and other elements to ensure a smooth learning experience for colleagues and trainers

**Training Provided**
- Apprenticeship in Business Administration Level 3
- English, Maths (if required)

- IT literate and a competent user of MS Office
- Good verbal and written communication
- Organised
- Ability to work alone and use initiative, when required
- Team player
- Reliable with good time keeping skills
