**The role**:
The people and culture department is currently a small and friendly team of three, with its main purpose being to create the best place to work, fully supporting the business and employees in all HR and cultural activities.

Due to continued business growth we have c90 employees therefore looking to expand our team with an HR Coordinator. Reporting to the Head of People and Culture, you will be an experienced HR generalist, responsible for supporting the department with setting up new starters, maintaining our HR portal and processes, training staff internally on processes, creating and updating key HR documents, arranging company events internally and externally, support with recruitment needs where necessary and supporting with employee HR queries.

You will be a conscientious and committed individual with a love of people mastery and supporting your teammates. You are keen to learn and grow with the business with the opportunity for continuous professional development.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Support the Head of People and Culture in administering HR requirements.
- Drafting and sending offer letters and contracts to successful applicants.
- Setting up new staff on our HR system.
- Onboarding new staff into the business and providing the relevant training.
- Manage contract with external provider of our HR system.
- Maintaining personnel records on our HR system, ensuring up to date at all times and all documentation is stored and processed effectively (personal information, annual leave, employee equipment records, annual renewal documents reviewed)
- Leave management.
- Report on key people stats and KPIs.
- Assisting with payroll data.
- Work with the Head of People and Culture on cultural and wellbeing initiatives across the business, making arrangements and bookings where necessary.
- Supporting with creation and administering of employee surveys throughout the year.
- Supporting with event organising through our employee engagement, charity and mental health wellbeing programmes.
- Supporting with organising training plans and timetable.
- Coordinating people celebrations.
- Update and edit policies and processes in collaboration with the Head of People and Culture.
- Keeping abreast of HR industry updates and making recommendations where appropriate
- Supporting the business and employees with HR queries.
- Assisting the Head of People and Culture to create and maintain documentation of HR procedures and processes.
- Make recommendations for new processes or ways of working.

**Skills and experience**:

- Previous experience in an HR generalist/people role for a min. of 3 years.
- CIPD Level 3 or above would be preferential.
- Highly organised.
- Self-motivated.
- Takes ownership of tasks.
- Strong ability to multitask.
- Forward thinking and proactive in your approach to work and ideas.
- Event management experience would be preferable.
- Keen to support and care for our staff, a real team player.
- Strong attention to detail.
- MHFA would be ideal.
