We are in search of an enthusiastic and motivated hands-on sales leader with a background in Life Sciences. As the Sales Director, your role will be instrumental in propelling revenue growth, acquiring new business, and nurturing and expanding revenues from our existing clientele.

This is a very flexible, hybrid role based in Reading.

The role:

- Lead from the front: Spearhead sales opportunities, drive revenue growth, and gain insights into our winning strategies.
- Build and manage a dynamic sales team, contributing to their growth and development.
- Formulate and execute comprehensive sales strategies and plans to achieve set targets.
- Provide coaching, management, and leadership to a growing sales team.
- Develop and advocate for weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales objectives.
- Generate accurate and detailed sales reports.
- Collaborate closely with the Marketing Director to implement go-to-market strategies, including product positioning and targeting strategies.
- Keep abreast of the competitive landscape and industry trends.

Skills and Experience:

- Passion for sales, with a proven track record of consistently exceeding targets.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field.
- In-depth understanding of the Life Sciences industry.
- Minimum of 5+ years of sales experience in SaaS, preferably within life sciences, with a focus on regulatory and clinical operations.
- Demonstrated history of quota achievement and successful deal closures.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Exceptional time management skills, enabling effective workload prioritization.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Self-motivated problem solver.
