Scanning results accurately and attaching scanned document into patient record and code accordingly. Maintaining an accurate log of telephone messages and ensuring that they have been passed onto the appropriate person and ensuring the relevant documentation is made into patients medical record. Audio Type referral letters as per the Doctors dictation. Preparing samples and mail for collection by internal transport.

Retrieve and refile medical records as requested, ensuring that a strict alphabetical order is adhered to. Arranging transport for patients. Charging patients the appropriate amount for private work, providing a receipt to the patient and recording the charge in the receipt book. Answering all patient queries.

New patient registrations. Start of the day procedures acquainted with. End of the day procedures acquainted with. Ordering health procedures literature.

Ensuring work station, office, kitchen and waiting room are kept clean and tidy and free from obstruction. Arranging appointments with the appropriate clinician for the patients needs and ensuring this is to their satisfaction where possible. Mentoring and training of new reception staff. Recall systems as appropriate and delegated by PM Attend and participate in admin/team meetings.

Attend any training programme implement by the Practice as part of this employment, such training to include for example, individual performance reviews, Emergency equipment and CPR. Any other appropriate tasks deemed fit by the Practice Manager
