Cambridgeshire, United Kingdom Change Grow Live Full time

**Overview**:
A fantastic, new opportunity has arisen to become a Volunteer co-ordinator, building a peer network to support those in recovery both within Change Grow Live and the wider community. This role will work within the Cambridgeshire Recovery Service Team to support highly skilled and well-trained peer mentors and volunteers. We are hoping this role is for you.

**Responsibilities**:
Do you want to work for a caring organisation that believes in people?

Have you the energy and drive to help establish the Cambridgeshire Recovery Service as a vital part of the Cambridgeshire recovery community?

As a part of Change Grow Live team you’ll help people get to where they want to be and make a difference in their lives.

As part of the Cambridgeshire Recovery Service you'll work alongside volunteers, peer mentors, service users and other partner organisations to build and grow services that support recovery in the community.

You will be working in close collaboration with the management, staff and service users to identify how volunteers can support staff and enhance the service user experience, ensuring that volunteers and volunteering brings value to our service.

The post holder will recruit, train, support and place a diverse range of volunteers within projects and the wider community. Once placed you will be responsible for ensuring their placements promote personal growth and development. This will be achieved through the direct delivering of training and identifying learning opportunities for our volunteers.

As part of this role you will oversee our Service User Involvement initiatives, ensuring we have a vibrant co-produced service where service users are at the heart of everything we do. The service user community will have a strong voice and have their contributions and achievements celebrated.

No two days are the same and we treat every person who comes into our service as an individual, so being flexible, curious and a good listener are key.

You will have to record information about what you do, so managing paperwork and attention to detail is important. But most of the time you will be enjoying working with people from all backgrounds, making a difference to their lives.

Does this role sound perfect for you? if so, please take a look at our job description.
