Typical day as a HAP Coordinator

  • No two days are the same One day you may be supporting a customer with a Hap workbook within a service the next day you may be doing the same out in the community enjoying a coffee at the same time.
  • You will be working with Customers from a whole range of backgrounds, some with complex support requirements so every day will be different and may not go as you planned.
  • If you do find yourself with some spare time you will be promoting the HAP, calling potential customers and promoting Home Achievement Program with relevant external agencies.
  • Being proactive and ensuring that all customers engaged have clear and achievable expectations for submitting completed workbooks and clear guidance for future involvement with the HAP.

  • Suitable learner Qualifications preferred but not essential.
  • At times there may be a need to travel to meet our customers. To get from A to B, you’ll need a vehicle insured for business purposes. The great news is that we’ll pay your mileage

Job details

  • Flexible working hours (or we’re open to agreeing a work pattern with you).
  • 25 hours per week work pattern with the option to manage your own diary.
  • Although you may at times lone work, we do get together regularly [in the daytime] for training and team meetings.
  • Able to use technology to support your customers, complete online training and to collaborate with your colleagues.
  • You’ll need an Enhanced DBS check done and we pay for that.
