Job Introduction
As a Volunteer Coordinator, you will be responsible for the recruitment, training, support, and retention of Volunteers.

You will work closely with colleagues to create these new and accessible support channels, supporting the development of a recruitment, training, and induction programme for recovery coaches to provide the highest quality support across these various platforms. You will be a creative thinker who uses data & insights to establish clear signposting and referral pathways to the new support services.

Main Responsibilities
- Recruit, induct, train, and retain a team of volunteers delivering effective peer support via numerous online channels
- Follow processes and procedures to safeguard both service users and coaches, following recovery criteria and set pathways
- Facilitate regular check ins, team meeting, development days and debriefs for coaches
- Effectively collaborate within the Remote Services team and wider teams, identifying volunteering opportunities to support GamCare’s work
- Support volunteer recognition and retention initiatives
- Ensure there are appropriate and regularly updated resources and materials for coaches to be able to function in their roles
- Support high standard of quality assurance, ensuring any systems issues are reported and fed back to line manager
- To ensure effective communication and engagement with volunteers by dissemination of information so that the team feel part of the wider organisation, updated and able to contribute to other areas such as working groups
- Flexibility to occasionally work outside of core office hours to deliver training on evenings and weekends
- Ensure that volunteers receive regular supervision and ongoing development
- To sensitively uphold, as appropriate, GamCare’s service procedures including confidentiality, safeguarding and GDPR.

Package Description
**Salary**:£27,914 (UK), £30,370 for those living in London and surrounding counties

**Permanent, Full time** - 35 hours per week

**Interviews will take place online via video conference on 17th May 2023**
- 33 days basic annual leave entitlement per annum (pro-rated for part-time colleagues) including bank holidays which increases with service
