Outreach Coordinator Volunteer

**Location**: Remote (UK based)

**Time commitment**: Approx 3-4 hours per week, staying on the team for at least 6 months

**Volunteer role to begin from the week of the 6th October.**

Cards for Bravery is a registered charity dedicated to brightening the days of hospitalised and seriously ill children, mainly through the distribution of positive uplifting hand-made cards.

We are looking for an Outreach Coordinator to help us expand our organisation. This role will include seeking opportunities and partnerships on behalf of Cards for Bravery.

**An ideal match**:

- Someone who is positive, dependable and hardworking and is dedicated to helping us bring smiles to hospitalised children’s faces
- Someone with clear communication and good teamwork and time management skills.

**The role will include activities such as**:

- Contacting and connecting with hospitals, hospices and CAMHS Units to gain potential partnerships
- Contacting and connecting with other businesses, schools, etc. on behalf of the charity about cardmaking events, donations and ways to help our organisation.
- Contacting the press regarding possible press releases
- Seeking appropriate grants and potential partnerships

**As a team member, we also require you**:

- Attend at least 6 monthly team meetings a year (out of 12, remote via video call)
- Be part of a unique team and give ideas to help broaden Cards for Bravery
