The successful post holder will be responsible from within the Divisions to promote and support the clinicians in using the ERS system, support the ERS Manager with an effective and sustainable Directory of Services to aid the process for electronic booking of patients appointments, They need to have a comprehensive understanding of the structure and processes used to manage outpatient clinics and be an experienced user of the clinical systems used to administer outpatient services.

They will support the ERS Manager in the production and analysis of reports when required and have oversight of the ATOS service desk clinic build requests, they will also support in the management of all new app types that are created ensuring that it is linked to the correct ERS service.

There has never been a more exciting time to join West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust Major redevelopment works are planned as part of the New Hospital Programme. These will be most dramatic at Watford General Hospital where up to 90% of buildings will be new.

To promote and support the clinicians in using the ERS Directory of Service.

To work closely with the Divisions to support the effective management of clinics slot capacity.

To support the ERS Manager with an effective and sustainable Directory of Services to aid the process for electronic booking of patient’s appointments.

To persuade and encourage all stakeholders to be involved in defining the accuracy of information supplied within the Directory to minimise any disruption to patient choice.

To have a comprehensive understanding of the structure and processes used to manage outpatient clinics and be an experienced user of the clinical systems used to administer outpatient services.

To support the ERS Manager in the production and analysis of reports when required.

Oversight of the ATOS service desk clinic build requests.

Support in the management of all new app types that are created ensuring that it is linked to the correct ERS service.

Support in the management of all new clinicians that start at WHTHT ensuring that they are linked and named on the relevant ERS service.

Support with changes to existing clinic templates are approved and completed in line with Trust data quality rules and Trust job planning principles to ensure maximum productivity.

Support with adequate cover within the team to respond to more urgent requests as required
