The Transformation Operational Execution Principal (ICG) will be part of the CAO function and report directly to the Transformation Operational Execution Lead for ICG.

The Transformation Program Execution Management team leads a diverse set of activities across the entire Regulatory Transformation Program, including (i) managing and tracking progress against plan across multiple programs and in multiple regions and lines of business, (ii) establishing and enforcing standards and protocols for execution consistency and quality, and (iii) acting as a SWAT team to address execution hot-spot areas and critical issues.

The Transformation Operational Execution Principal (ICG) will be responsible for ensuring effective execution of large regulatory transformation programs that the Institutional Clients Group (ICG) lines of business are required to deliver against. This effective execution oversight entails (a) providing improved transparency on execution progress, and (b) leaning in to mitigate specific execution risks and issues, particularly amongst interdependencies between programs. This role closely partners with the ICG lines-of-business as well as the functional Program Execution Workstream Leads.

**Responsibilities**:

- Accountable as part of the central Transformation Office’s operational execution oversight to ensure successful delivery of ICG owned milestones and deliverables associated with the consent order through closure
- Be a central Transformation Office key point of contact to the embedded ICG transformation efforts
- Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders and organizations (i.e., Business & Function Risk/Control Leads, Cross Enterprise Transformation Leads, Program Execution Leads)
- Support the Regulatory & Cross-Enterprise Transformation group with the implementation of common PMO standards, formats, and reporting
- Improve transparency for the identification of risks and issues that impact program delivery execution, ensure mitigation plans are in place, and track successful resolution to better enable critical path delivery
- Ensure all aspects of the PMO process, including RAG ratings, KPI’s, status updates, execution related issues and risks, and adherence to dates and deliverables
- Identify and address related scope issues across programs, other initiatives, and existing frameworks to ensure end-to-end remediation and compliance
- Capture, escalate and resolve milestone dates and delays, critical path dependencies, execution risks and issues with relevant stakeholders, including senior management where required
- Identify program resource constraints (e.g., program management, SMEs, technology) in collaboration with Program and Execution Leads
- Accelerate execution progress by mitigating specific execution risks and issues in partnership with the Program/Business/Function by:

- Conducting rapid deep dives to assess the reason(s) for the deliverables to being off track and developing potential solutions to be actioned
- Serve as a mediatory between cross Program/Business/Function execution teams that cannot reach consensus to accelerate the decision-making process
- Restructure deliverables including resources
- Take full ownership of deliverables for an interim period while the right resources are secured to return ownership to the Business or Function
- Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment, demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and excellence
- Set and continually manage Operational Execution expectations while managing high-quality and on-time deliverables with team members and stakeholders
- Deliver appropriate and effective communication that is fit for executive and regulatory level reporting

**Qualifications**:

- 15+ years of relevant experience
- Experience in transformation roles, including with large complex cross-enterprise transformation programs that incorporated process, technology and organization change employing multiple delivery styles/ methodologies
- Experience within the Financial Services Industry a plus
- Management consulting, high-intensity work experience highly desirable
- Strong understanding of specific ICG lines of businesses - Markets and Security Services, Treasury and Trade Solutions, Commercial Banking, Banking/Capital Markets/Advisory, and associated Operations and Technology support
- Experience managing large-scale transformation programs, ideally including regulatory remediation programs
- Track record of managing internal relationships and demonstrated experience in leading sustained change and change management efforts
- Strong project management skills, with ability to deploy flexible approach to meet the needs of a broad group of diverse stakeholders
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based collaborative leadership model
- Self-starter who brings high sense of urgency to assignments and goals
