Through this role you will be able to work with multiple teams around the business providing a significant learning opportunity to understand how the business operates. There will also be significant senior stakeholder engagement as Transformation Leads will be expected to run their respective Steercos and manage key stakeholders.

This is a challenging, fast paced role focussed on delivering significant benefits for Quilter not only from an operating margin perspective but also ensuring that the business is better positioned to deliver for our customers and advisers.

Our Transformation Lead’s responsibilities are expected to evolve and flex over time. The generic responsibilities of the role will be the same, but the domain / functional scope will differ between role holders, this may flex over time across the team. The scope of the Transformation team is broad and TL portfolios will be designed to best fit the talent within the team.

You will work directly with the Quilter Transformation Director, Quilter exco members and their teams to enable the design, development, and implementation of the Quilter transformation portfolio in support of Quilters overarching strategy and business plan.

You will work with a wide variety of stakeholders, including the Quilter executive committee members and their teams, lead the analysis and scoping of further business simplification opportunities.

Support business teams in the planning, mobilisation, and delivery of initiatives within the overall transformation portfolio.

You will ensure appropriate tracking is in place across the transformation initiatives, and work with functional / business unit executives and the Transformation Director to escalate and resolve obstacles to successful delivery and achieve of transformation objectives.

Ensure that the drivers for successful delivery and achievement of outcomes are identified for the portfolio and that these drivers are in place and operating effectively, e.g., appropriate resourcing, stakeholder engagement etc.

Ensure interdependencies with other transformation initiatives, both within own portfolio and across other portfolios are clearly identified and proactively managed.

Ensure that risks to the successful delivery and achievement of outcomes are clearly identified, mitigating plans put in plans and tracked on an ongoing basis.

Support functional / business executives and teams, as well as the Transformation Director, with additional analysis to enable identification of opportunities and management of execution or outcome risk, including business analysis, portfolio analysis and scheduling /alignment opportunities.

Be a role model for the behaviours that are critical to the successful delivery of Quilter’s transformation objectives, including pro-activity, delivery and outcome orientated, outward (rather than internal) focus, driving for simplicity / avoiding bureaucracy and teamwork.

Support the effective and regular reporting of progress to the relevant functional / business executives, the Transformation Director, and the Quilter Executive Committee.

Identify opportunities where external support may be beneficial to Quilter to maximise transformation outcomes or mitigate risk.

Support the Transformation Director on other initiatives that form part of the Transformation Director’s agenda, as needed. This may involve analysis, design, coordination of organisational activity or delivery.
