An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the corporate governance team. The Corporate Governance Administrator will provide a comprehensive, professional and confidential administrative support to the corporate governance team, including the Director of Corporate Governance, arranging board and committee meetings as well as managing diaries and mailboxes for the senior members of the team.

It also provided key support to a board committee, taking high-quality minutes and supports the electronic working of the board through the use of specialist systems.

To assist in the organisation and planning of the daily schedules for the Director of Corporate Governance and other senior members of the team. This will include arranging internal and external meetings; commissioning of relevant briefing for meetings when required; ensuring diaries are aligned to business need; and following up on issues arising out of meeting when requested.

The post holder will be expected to exercise judgement and discretion in the day to day handling, monitoring and filtering of appointments and enquiries. The post holder will be expected to liaise with internal and external stakeholders to arrange meetings;
Manage the Outlook mailbox for the Director of Corporate Governance and other senior members of the team;
Prepare and publish documents for on the health board’s website and the

Electronic board paper system;
Arrange corporate governance meetings, including identifying suitable dates and venues as well as the setup of the rooms and IT equipment on the day;
Take and transcribe minutes at meetings;
Prepare, maintain and collate reports as required.
