We have an opportunity for an experienced HR Administrator to join our Ship Building client on a 12-month fixed term contract. As HR Administrator, you will be first point of contact for all day-to-day queries and will be responsible for ensuring that an efficient and effective HR administration service is provided to the business.

**THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT**- Previous experience of working in a fast-paced HR department is essential-
- Exceptional attention to detail with a high level of accuracy-
- Excellent communication skills-
- Ability to build strong relationships with employees at all levels-
- Ability to use own initiative as well as work as part of a team-
- Ability to prioritise workload, and manage multiple tasks effectively-
- Experience of preparing large mail merges and working with large amounts of data-
- A good understanding of GDPR in practice-
- An ability to demonstrate tact and discretion when dealing with confidential informationPrevious experience within the shipbuilding / manufacturing industry is desirable**JOB DESCRIPTION**- Manage the administrative and transactional elements of the HR department at all stages of the employee life cycle-
- Update and maintain employee records and HR/Payroll systems-
- Managing queries in the HR shared mailbox, ensuring a prompt and accurate response-
- Prepare and issue a variety of letters, including the use of mail merge-
- Support monthly payroll processing-
- Track all holidays and leave of absences-
- Support the team identifying training requirements and organising training courses-
- Support with expenses claims-
- Prepare and issue a variety of letters-
- Maintains confidentiality at all times, adhering to GDPR legislation-
- Ensures all work is carried out within employment legislation requirements and HR best practice**REMUNERATION PACKAGE ON OFFER**
