Sales Specialist

As an Internal Sales Specialist, you will be a pivotal part of our dynamic sales team, specialising in the software product line. This role involves actively driving sales and business development efforts for a leading provider of innovative PDF products and services. You will work closely with other sales professionals, technical teams, and channel partners to maximise sales opportunities and achieve targets.
Our client is a leading global distributor of enterprise software solutions, with a focus on areas like cloud computing, data protection, database systems and management, infrastructure, and security. With a presence across 20 countries in Europe and North America, they build long-term, successful professional relationships with resellers, system houses, and international vendors, offering high-margin and innovative software solutions, support for software license procurement, and dedicated go-to-market strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Business Development: Drive sales of products through various channels. Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets.
Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, understanding their needs and providing customised solutions.
Product Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of products and services to effectively communicate benefits and features to clients and partners.
Market Analysis: Conduct market analysis to identify new sales opportunities and stay abreast of industry trends.
Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies.
Reporting: Regularly report on sales activities and progress against targets to management.
Training and Support: Provide training and support to resellers and system houses on solutions.
Desirable Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience in sales, preferably in the software or IT sector.
Strong understanding of the software distribution process and channel sales.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to understand and articulate technical product features and benefits.
Strong analytical skills and ability to strategize effectively.
Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
