**What you’ll do**:
The Pre-Sales Programme Design practice supports bid management, account and sales teams to prepare, negotiate, shape and define future programme and project solutions for customers. The team prepares pre-sales delivery and cost estimates for complex enterprise projects and programmes, produces plans & programme approaches; detailed work breakdown structures and designs that reflect the true margin of a proposed deal; ensuring all associated risks and issues and mitigating factors are understood. All of which are handed over to resourcing & delivery teams on time.

As part of the Programme Design practice **Planning Design Specialist** will work across VBTS UK in a pre-sales capacity to rapidly estimate and capture both project delivery and/or technical professional services effort required to deliver a complex solution in a Statement of Work/Work Package aligned to a High Level Delivery Plan. The Work Package or SoW must also document the RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies) based on the requirements and design artefacts received.

Within the scope of the planning activities described above, the incumbent solicits, challenges, collates, and presents all of the solution implementation details from technical specialists. For non-standard or Complex opportunities the PPA is accountable for ASI representation at Deals Assurance.

Where templated project plans exist for BAU deliveries the PPA will be responsible for drafting the initial High Level Delivery Plan against which the ASI effort is profiled within the WP.

The incumbent is also responsible for developing trust for cross-business engagement, as well as influencing design and product strategies.

**Who you are**:

- Prior experience within a Pre-Sales, Solution Architecture or Project Coordination capacity
- Broad experience of fixed product market, In-depth understanding of at least one of the following complex customer solutions including UC, Contact Centre, SDWAN, LAN/WAN, Cloud, IoT, Cisco, Fortinet, VMWare MPN technologies
- Strong stakeholder management
- Cisco CCNA is desired but not required
