Administrative Assistant

Job Summary:
An opportunity has arisen for a full time Administrative Assistant to join a well-established building contractor in Bloxwich, West Midlands.
Minimum 5 years experience in an administrative role. Must be proficient in Word, Outlook and Excel.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Working under the direction of the Office Manager to provide general clerical and administrative support to the Office Manager and other members of staff as part of a busy Admin Team.
Will be aware of and comply with company policies and procedures, in particular health and safety and security, confidentiality and data protection, reporting any concerns to the Office Manager.
Duties will include, but not limited to:
Manage calendars and schedule appointments
Answering the telephone and dealing with customer queries
Meet and greet visitors
Type and send quotations and make follow-up call as required
Request supplier prices / place orders when approved
Invoicing and chasing overdues
Enter invoices onto job costings sheet and obtain relevant Project Manager approval
Arranging plant, skips, and portaloos for site
Administration of the training matrix
Health & Safety bi-monthly reminders to current staff and sub-contractors
Computer input of invoices onto SAGE as and when required (experience not necessary)
Monthly distribution of confidential CIS information
To operate general office equipment such as photocopier and larger plotter
Opportunities may arise from time to time to participate in training and other learning activities and performance development as required
Pay: From £12.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 37 per week
