Receptionist/administrative Assistant

The Reception/Admin role at our 5 star Holiday Park is mainly customer facing - greeting visitors to our Park face to face, dealing with bookings and customer enquiries. Our Park offers caravans, lodges and glamping accommodation for hire as well as a touring area for motorhomes, touring caravans and tents. We also have around 180 holiday home owners who privately own their own holiday homes on our park.
There will also be admin duties to carry out to ensure the smooth running of the office and this will also entail contacting suppliers and maintaining stocks from stationery to laundry. The job can be quite varied and challenging.
During our Open Season from 15th March til 31st October the job will require weekend working with 2 days off being Tuesday and Friday. The working day starts at 8.30am and finishes at 5pm. In the Close Season we work shorter hours, 8.30am til 4pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30am til 12 noon on a Friday, with Saturday and Sunday off. The salary remains the same throughout the year and doesn't change between Open and Close seasons.
Staff are entitled to 7 weeks holiday in a year, with 3 of those over Christmas/New Year. As the summer is our busiest period there are no staff holidays permitted in July/August during the school holidays.
