**The role**:
DfTc is looking to introduce a volume recruitment model, where similar roles across the DG Groups will be recruited for in one campaign. As part of the model, the Departmental Resourcing Group (DRG) will be trialing offering a new end-to-end recruitment service.
**As a Resourcing Assistant your main responsibilities will be**:
- Provide high quality advice and guidance to vacancy holders and panel members throughout the recruitment and onboarding process in a timely manner, including but not limited to: creating and issuing informative sift and interview packs; responding to queries and escalating as required
- Leading and managing all campaign administration. This includes, but is not limited to: managing the recruitment campaign on our recruitment system, Oleeo, on behalf of vacancy holders; quality checking and uploading sift and interview scores on Oleeo; the facilitation of policy exercises; setting up interviews
- Proactively engaging with vacancy holders, panel members, and Government Recruitment Service (GRS) to oversee the delivery of the volume campaign within agreed timeframes, keeping everyone on track and escalating issues as necessary
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legal requirements and internal governance. This includes employment law, the Department’s Recruitment and Selection policy, the Department’s diversity strategy, equal opportunities legislation and the Civil Service Commissioners’ Recruitment Principles
- Handling, advising on, and implementing reasonable adjustment requests during the recruitment process, seeking advice from others as necessary
- Representing DRG as an expert service by delivering proactive customer engagement and providing expert advice and recommendations using excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Build and maintain solid, professional, and trusting relationships to promote collaborative and supportive working
- Work as part of a team with the other Resourcing Advisor, and wider DRG, to share workload and allocate tasks, providing support as needed
- Support and feed into any lessons learned activities to improve future campaigns
**You’ll have relevant experience in**:
- Excellent admin skills
- Organised and able to prioritise work load and work independently.
- Can work to tight deadlines
- Excellent customer service skills
- Experience in Resourcing is beneficial but not essential for this admin based role
