**Customer Development Manager**

Are you someone who is passionate about sales, customer service and developing your career?

At **Jewson**we are looking for **a Customer Development Manager**to work in our**sales team,**helping to assist the business Unit in the on-boarding and development of new accounts, supporting the external team on conversion of live quotes and build Aviator pipelines as well as the management of keyaccounts

This Customer Development Manager will be covering Hastings, Kent, East Sussex and Surrey, working closely with the branches in the region. This is a fantastic opportunity to get yourself noticed within Saint Gobain as your will deal with all our core customers,on their projects and be their first point of call for our estimating / pipeline service.

**What we're looking for**:

- Experience of working in a Sales, Customer Service or Estimating function within a Builders Merchant business
- Highly numerate with excellent analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to spot sales opportunities
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple simultaneous priorities

**What you will be doing**:

- Help manage and convert the Business Unit sales pipeline with a keen focus on Build Aviator
- On-board all new accounts within the Business Unit, ensuring that they start and continue to spend
- Work with customers and the external sales team to agree and set terms of trade Support the external sales team with preparation and conversion of all quotations
- Develop trust relationships with key Business Unit customers to maintain and improve Profitability
- Pro-actively phone targeted and visit customers to improve the share of wallet
- Provide customer insights to the Sales Manager to identify opportunities
- Work with the local branch teams to execute the local Business Unit sales plan
