Sales Development Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Development Manager to join our team in the South & South East of England. As an Area Sales Representative for Girbau UK, you will be responsible for developing new customer relationships and promoting our high-value proposition to meet sales objectives.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets, with an understanding of longer capital equipment sales cycles. You will be goal-oriented, passionate to succeed, and career-driven with excellent presentation skills.
In this field-based role, you will work independently to generate new business through active prospecting, self-generated appointments, and following up leads added to the Salesforce CRM system. You will also attend trade shows, workshops, and exhibitions as appropriate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Building new relationships and sales within your defined territory
- Generating new business through active prospecting, self-generated appointments, and following up leads added to the Salesforce CRM system
- Keeping the Salesforce CRM system up to date with prospecting activity and future pipeline
- Managing your own diary of meetings to generate sales of the range of commercial laundry equipment on a purchase or rental basis
- Taking ownership of your sales territory to build and develop relationships
- Expanding Girbau's reputation within the marketplace in core identified sectors
- Attending trade shows, workshops, and exhibitions as appropriate
- Meeting minimum KPIs for both activity and results
About You:
- A highly motivated attitude towards targets, goal-oriented with a passion to succeed
- A proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets, with an understanding of longer capital equipment sales cycles
- Career-driven, professional, and credible with the flexibility to go the extra mile in order to achieve personal and team targets
- Excellent presentation skills
- Previous Commercial Laundry sector experience is preferred but not essential • Excellent organisational skills
- Comfortable with extensive travel and occasional overnight stays to meet perspective new customers or attend internal meetings
- Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to converse at all levels
- Full UK driving licence
Role Details:
Location: Field-Based role in the South & South East of England
Hours: 40 hours per week
Estimated Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
