Sales Development Representative

As a key member of our External Sales Team at APP Wholesale Ltd, you will be responsible for managing a well-established territory of South Coast and Kent. We are a leading supplier within the industry, offering an unrivalled service and fulfilment prospect, supported by a dedicated and knowledgeable team located in nine strategic locations.

Your main objective will be to increase sales on your assigned area, as well as identify new customers to expand our business. To achieve this, you will need to think strategically, seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives to develop and improve the business. You will also be responsible for managing your own time to ensure maximum productivity and achieving goals and targets.

  • Responsibilities: Manage and increase sales on a well-established area, achieve area sales and profit targets, think strategically, manage own time, establish and maintain positive business and customer relationships, present and promote products, maximise profit by upselling and promoting the whole range of goods, analyse trading accounts, build and maintain trading relationships with manufacturers, liaise with depots, supply management with customer needs, problems, and competitor information, keep customer records up to date.

Requirements: Sales experience within the Plumbing & Heating market (External sales preferred), proven sales record, positive attitude, flexibility, good analytical skills, excellent relationship building skills, impeccable desire to reach and exceed targets, clean driving licence.
