Our client is a multinational property agent who is looking for an Auction Business Development Manager to join their team. My client provides auction management services to the UK property market and works in conjunction with estate agencies nationwide.

The role is pivotal in the sales growth of my client, and in significantly increasing their market share in the county of Kent and surrounding areas. You will be responsible for growing the business by securing new properties to place into Auction in conjunctionwith a local estate agent who will join our network as a partner agent. From there on in, you will work very closely with those agents in your capacity as a valuer and account manager to help them develop a significant auction business in partnership

**Your key tasks as an Auction Business Development Manager would include**:

- Signing up new Auction Partners, who refer lots for Auction on a regular basis
- Appointment setting with decision-makers
- Building relationships across the property sector in your region
- Reaching the targets and goals set for your region
- Establishing, maintaining, and expanding your Auction Partner client base
- Relationship and account management of all partners
- Expand the relationships to use other services within the group
- Supporting the ongoing training of Partners
- Developing and innovating with ideas to recruit new Auction Partners
- Compiling and analysing sales figures and producing Sales MI
- Dealing with major customer accounts
- Keeping up to date with competitors and market activity in your area

**For the role Auction Business Development Manager role you must have**:

- Excellent sales and negotiation skills
- Good communication and 'people skills'
- Confidence and motivation
- Experience in using sales and marketing techniques to grow a business and ideally secure lots for Auction
- Clean driver’s license + own vehicle
- Eligibility to work in the UK and everything it takes to successfully complete pre-employment screening
- Good personal organisation and time management skills
- The resilience to deal with customers who turn you down
- The willingness to develop in-depth knowledge of property auction
- Good business sense and a professional manner

**Working hours**:

- Monday to Friday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Some days from home, and others on the road

**Salary/Package**:

- £30,000 - £35,000 Basic
- £50,000 OTE
- £4,200 Car Allowance
