Working as part of a dedicated team, supporting the medical staffing function of the Division, we are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Medical Staffing team.

You will an integral part of the team providing this vital service to our clinical teams. Full training will be provided.

**Job Summary**:
To support the medical staffing function of the Division, including requesting and recoding locum shifts, maintenance of junior doctor rotas, supporting clinical teams in recruiting into vacant positions and ensuring that short and long term rota gaps are filled by sourcing locums.

The Trust comprises four hospitals - the John Radcliffe Hospital, Churchill Hospital and Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre in Headington and the Horton General Hospital in Banbury.

- To provide accurate and timely rotas and timetables for medical staff.
- To provide out of hours medical rotas
- To take responsibility in providing administrative support in relation to the working patterns and swap changes of medical staff.
- To be responsible for coordinating new rotations and timetables, communicating future rotas and any changes to rotas of various grade doctors.
- To manage the rotas on a day-to-day basis, ensuring cover is provided in the event of sickness/absence and appropriately deploying staff, booking locum doctors as necessary using internal and external agencies.
- Ensure that MediRota is populated and reflective of any short-notice changes
- To act as a central point of contact for rota co-ordination and rota queries for all medical staff, using MediRota to record changes.
- To ensure unresolved rota issues are escalated appropriately to the Trauma & Medical Staffing Manager, Clinical Leads, lead rota coordinator or clinical admin leads.
- To manage and record leave
- To process additional clinical activity
- To process observer and honorary contract requests.
