We are looking for an Accounts and Administration Assistant to join the team at our Boston Store

As our **Accounts and Administration Assistant**, you will take a proactive approach to support the management and development of the accounts and administration in order to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness for two businesses. The two businesses are Sack Store Boston and its sister store, Stamford Garden Centre. In addition you will support the accounts and office manager to ensure smooth running of the office and administration of all business processes. The job will be initially for three days a week with some weekends.

Reporting to the Accounts and Office Manager, your responsibilities will include:

- recording supplier invoices on the online accounting system
- creating trade customer invoices on the accounting system
- checking, collating and filing delivery notes and supplier invoices
- cashing up and reconciliation of takings
- checking and filing completed customer invoices
- completing and updating sales analysis journals
- ordering from suppliers as needed following business processes
- checking business processes are being followed by all members of the team
- assisting the accounts and office manager to manage:
records and information storage in line with GDPR, Customs and Excise and HMRC requirements

stock transfers

petty cash and tips

In addition, you will be expected to support the team with general daily tasks including:

- sales
- stoves
- answering the phone
- customer queries

Qualifications, Experience and Skills:

- You must:

- have knowledge, experience of and be proficient in using online accounts software eg. Sage Online
- have knowledge and experience of and be proficient in using Excel, Word and Outlook
- have excellent Communication Skills

A knowledge and interest in social media would be an added advantage.
