Hampshire Childrens Services are looking for an enthusiastic administrative officer to work within the Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub, Parkway, Fareham.

An excellent communicator and highly motivated, you will have the ability to work under pressure, working in a fast-paced environment, often to tight timescales. You will be able to prioritise and approach tasks with confidence and clarity, using your owninitiative.

You will need to be flexible in your approach and be able to work as part of a busy team. You should also have excellent IT skills and it is essential that you are confident and experienced in using Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel. Knowledge of the IBCsystems would be highly desirable.

**Role Responsibilities**:
Providing general administrative support to Childrens Services in East Hants District.
- Take responsibility, prioritise and be proactive in dealing with enquiries
- Make, take and respond to telephone calls from clients and professionals, recording the calls on the appropriate database.
- Providing general administrative support to Childrens Services in East Hants District to meet the needs of the service.
- Minuting of Legal Strategy Meetings, High Risk Strategy Meeting, Public Law Outline meetings and various other Professional's meetings and producing minutes to a high standard within a timely manner.
- Liaise with Social Worker Personal Assistants and assist with chronologies, health assessments, referrals and audits.
- Line management responsibilities of Business Support Staff.
- Liaise with employment agencies by recording and distributing CV's to Districts Managers for shortlisting.
- To record and maintain accommodation expenses. Update databases and appropriate spreadsheets.
- Produce spreadsheet for general recruitment monitoring and processing.
- Issuing of Petty Cash.
- Ensure compliance with Data Protection Policies

**Essential Qualifications, Skills and Experience**:

- GCSEs English and Mathematics, grade A - C (or equivalent).
- Experience of delivering a wide range of administrative functions.
- Qualifications and experience in computer literacy - Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Sharepoint and Outlook.
- Line management experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Ability to be proactive and experience with working at a fast pace.
- Ability to use own initiative to prioritise and organise own workload with mínimal supervision.
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage competing demands.

Ability to work well as a team member.

**Desirable Qualifications, Skills and Experience**:

- Experience in the use of IBC Systems.

**Working Conditions in this role may include**:

- Manual handling; objects up to 5kg.
- Use of Display Screen Equipment.
