The Ayrshire Hospice provides quality specialist palliative care for adults with life-limiting illness within Ayrshire and Arran. We provide a wide range of services and care in people’s homes, care homes and hospitals, as well as in the hospice itself. This is provided at no cost to our patients or their families. Our vision is to reach and improve the lives of everyone in Ayrshire affected by life-limiting illness.

**The Role and What We Are Looking For**

We are currently seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and dynamic Administrator to join our Administration Team at the Ayrshire Hospice.
As Administrator, you will work closely with and will provide a confidential secretarial service to various specific clinical and non-clinical Managers, to ensure the organisational needs are prioritized and managed effectively. As part of an Administration Team you will provide additional support during periods of annual leave, absence and fluctuating workload to ensure that targets are met and standards achieved.

A relevant administration qualification (e.g. HNC Business Administration & IT) and equivalent administration experience is essential for this position. Previous experience in providing a high quality and confidential administration service, working with electronic data system, coordinating rotas or diaries and taking minutes at meetings are also essential for this role.

You must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, have a high level of proficiency in various Microsoft packages, knowledge of GDPR principles and have highly developed typing skills.
