**Job Purpose**

The Schedule Coordinator is responsible for coordinating with the Production Planners/Material Planners to schedule shipping dates for sales orders in line with availability of goods, assign confirmed ship dates to orders, check date accuracy from order entry, follow up on any late order lines and check upcoming despatch date viability. They will be responsible for liaising with the Commercial team to manage order prioritisation. The role holder will facilitate communication between Sales/Customer Services, Technical Services, Production, Despatch/Logistics and the rest of the Supply Chain team.

**QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE**
- Excellent IT skills, especially the Microsoft suite
- Good written/verbal communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Good organisational skills and problem-solving skills
- Experience using an ERP system such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 for sales order entry
- Experience working in a manufacturing company
- Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Motivation, flexibility, drive and commitment
- Adapts to change
- Work well under pressure

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Identify requirements for finished goods from sales orders, forecast, project/engineering requirements and tech services
- Liaise with Customer Services regarding order priority, specific customer requests, order holds and changes to orders
- Liaise with Supply Chain team to manage shortages/delays and logistics
- Work with Production Planners/SCM to agree suitable confirmed ship dates and enter dates on orders
- Check schedule is on track and manage any bottlenecks, delays or late orders
- Ensure date accuracy on Sales orders and be accountable for any changes
- Inform Production or Customer Services if any confirmed ship dates change
- Monitor and coordinate intercompany order despatch dates and lead times

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £23,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
