Reporting directly to the Senior Procurement and Planning Manager, the Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for the movement of finished goods and raw materials in a timely and efficient manner..
Effective communication, customer service and strong organisational skills are essential for the success of the role, you will need to be able to communicate at all levels both with internal and external stakeholders and build strong working relationships.

Working as part of the Planning and Procurement Department, the Logistics Coordinator is seen as the main point of contact for customer purchase orders and finished goods dispatch, coordinating and managing the first and final supply chain steps of order management and fulfilment.
You will be an experienced and truly ambitious, who is eager to develop, learn and grow within the business.
Main

**Responsibilities**:

- Liaise directly with customers regarding their purchase orders and required production/ delivery dates.
- Liaising closely with procurement and planning
- Liaise with the Warehouse Operatives ensuring that delivery / collection notes are correct.
- Arranging and completing stock transfers between sites including any relevant paperwork to support this transaction.
- Liaise with Accounts to ensure efficient operation of despatch.
- Ensure effective communication to internal and external stakeholders particularly with planning and procurement of any changes to the production plan to ensure the efficient operation of production.
- Ensuring paperwork for goods out are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
- To knowledge share and work in close partnership with the Purchasing Assistant to enable the smooth operation of the Planning and Procurement department.
- Manage all non-UK dispatch and be the point of contact for international export.
- Liaise with the New Product Development (NPD) department to arrange additional documents for international export. **Manage finished goods stock, ensuring goods are dispatched in a timely manner. ** Responsible for preparing shipping documents such as Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, etc. **Acting as the main point of contact for customers.**
- Previous experience within a similar role or within Supply Chain is essential.
- Fully proficient user of Microsoft Office particularly in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
- Degree Post graduate preferable but not essential
- Ideally with CIPS or other Supply Chain qualification
- X5 GCSE grades A*-C (or equivalent qualification), Mathematics is essential.
- Excellent knowledge and advocate user of SAGE (both SAGE 50 & SAGE 200).

Travel to work from; **Blackwood, Caerphilly, Newport, Cwmbran, Ebbw Vale**

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
