**Clinical Administrator**

**Hours - 35hrs per week, Monday - Friday**

**Hourly rate - £12.50**

Our client is looking for a Clinical Administrator to join their busy team in Cardiff on a temporary basis.

**Responsibilities**
- Liaising with patients, family members and other clients to organise counselling appointments
- Daily inputting of client information on the database ensuring accurate up to date information is maintained
- Maintaining an up to date waiting list of referrals and allocating clients to Counsellors
- Setting up client files for the Counsellors, ensuring all appropriate documentation is contained within them
- Following up on client appointments and reminders as appropriate
- Under the direction of Head of Counselling, coordinating bereavement coffee mornings, additional outreach days and other bereavement events as required.
- Coordinating adult and children’s bereavement counselling groups
- Coordinating the 6 weeks patient referral calls
- Responsible for raising the awareness of the availability of bereavement awareness training in schools.
- Provide general administrative support to the counselling team including keeping electronic calendar, checking answerphone, archiving files, ensuring white boards are kept up to date with client information and updating procedures as required
- Assist other members of the clinical team with undertaking patient referrals when required and assisting with other clinical tasks as appropriate
