**About the role**
This represents a key role within a small finance department to develop the systems capability and deliver budgets / forecasts as well as monitoring ongoing Risks & Opportunities. The role holder will be expected to drive initiatives to improve insight, quality, and accuracy of reporting. A key link between Finance and commercial teams to facilitate month end and forecasting activities whilst ensuring Finance offers valuable insight to all business units.
**The essential bits**
You’ll be a Qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA or ACCA) with strong commercial acumen and experience. Excellent interpersonal, communication and time management skills.
Strong presentation skills, with experience of converting large amounts of data into digestible executive summaries.
Prior systems implementation and business system administration and a high degree of IT literacy including advanced excel skills - highly effective systems and analytical skills.
**About you and your experience**
You will have a challenger mindset and problem solver, demonstrable experience of acting on their own initiative to solve problems
Previous experience working within a business partnering capacity working alongside commercial functions of a business
Strong analytical skills with previous experience of forecast, budget and management reporting
Experience working in the technology industry with a passion for technology preferred
