About us:
We are a young company, gaining momentum in the education sector and require an Administrative Assistant / Accounts Clerk to support the accounts department in our Oxford Office.
**Job Description**:
Administration duties:
List of admin duties (but not limited to):
- composing correspondence to customers and suppliers
- Good knowledge of Outlook Calendar and To Do List
- Filing - On cloud storage and paper filing
- Assist the Senior Bookkeeper in printing, scanning, filing and retrieving paper work/documents for processing on the accounting software
- Updating data on excel sheets
- Communicating with upper management and with other employees
- Scheduling and diary management - meetings / interviews / travel itineraries
- Preparing presentations for the finance department
- Any other office/accounts admin duties required by the department
Accounting Duties:
List of accounting duties (but not limited to):
- Scanning documents into Dext for processing
- Accurate data input into Dext from the paperwork scanned
- Updating data on excel sheets regularly to keep information up dated
- Assist with bookkeeping / VAT / Financial reports
- Assist with entering information in Xero Accounting Software
- Liaising with customers and suppliers
- preparing the pay run for the outsourced payroll department to process wages
Essential Skills:
- MS Outlook
- MS Excel
- MS Word
- MS Powerpoint
Desirable, but not essential as training will be provided:
- Xero Accounting Software
- Dext
- VAT returns & bookkeeping
- Be thorough and pay attention to detail
- Able to work well with others
- Able to work on your own
- Sensitivity and understanding
- Flexible and open to change
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Customer service skills
- Able to work in London office couple times a month if needed (travel to be reimburse)
- Live within a reasonable commute to the Oxford Office (OX4 - Littlemore Oxford)
Pay: £25,400.00-£28,000.00 per year
