About the role
We are delighted to share that a new vacancy has arisen for a Packaging Data Administrator to join us here at Tesco.

This role would suit someone with a strong analytical mindset and used to working in a fast paced environment.

You will be responsible for
- Creating and tracking data and information that enables packaging change decisions and position statements
- Work with data service providers to develop and own accurate, auditable data sets that can be use to ensure we meet legal packaging reporting obligations
- Building, maintaining and developing our suite of insight and performance reports, providing the business with visibility of how packaging performs, in particular tracking KPI’s and celebrating positive packaging changes
- Generating reports and using data to help packaging and category teams identify packaging change opportunities that support our sustainable packaging ambitions
- Developing a deep understanding of packaging data, undertaking root cause analysis and establishing continuous improvements to processes and systems that support our customers, suppliers and other business teams
- Providing accurate data to report our performance to interested stakeholders e.g. NGO’s, investors and customers
- Building relationships across the business, and passionately promoting the packaging agenda
- Measuring costs/environment benefits from the changes delivered by the team and develop future recommendations
- Support with programme management, templates and develop improved ways for the team to access data
- Following our Business Code of Conduct and always acting with integrity and diligence

You will need
- Working with data and an analytical mind
- Presentation of data (visually and verbally)
- Process and /or system improvement
- Supplier and Stakeholder management
- Packaging industry experience/knowledge (ideal but not essential)
- Used to working cross-functionally
- Used to work in a fast paced environment
