An exciting permanent opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Information Governance Officer, to support the administration processes and workload of the Information Governance team. You will be working with and directly supporting the Data Protection Compliance Managers & Data Protection Officer. You will be responsible for coordinating support for meetings and minute taking as well as reviewing general administrative requests. Responsibilities will also include acting as a point of contact for enquires, communications relating to Data Protection Impact Assessments, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Datix/Risk Management issues. The post holder will also be involved in the evidence gathering for the annual submission of the Welsh Data Protection Toolkit.

Advising on the creation of data sharing agreements and keeping a log of all signed documents To update and maintain the Information Asset Register and report high level risks where required Providing general advice and guidance within the IG team and to other staff across the Trust Supporting the Data Protection Compliance Managers in maintaining organisational compliance and project support Keeping the Information Governance Teams Intranet site up to date Completing and running privacy audit reports.
