**Job Summary**:
Avantor is looking for a Stores Coordinator, to join our team in Cambridge on a full-time, temporary basis (3-months). Your will join our Inventory Management Services and support day-to-day operations of the Central Stores.

You will be based in scientific environment, and work will solvents, chemicals and medical samples. Are you currently working in a warehouse or stockroom, or maybe your background is in retail or hospitality? If the answer is yes, please apply

**What we’re looking for?**
- ** Education**: High school or equivalent experience
- ** Experience**: Previous experience working in a stores environment is highly desirable. This can be in hospitality, retail, or general warehouse stockrooms; Exposure to stock ordering and warehouse management software
- ** Collaboration Tool**: Microsoft Teams experience preferred

**How you will thrive and create an impact?**
- Inventory management (consumables, chemicals, samples) and accurate inventory control, processing requests leading to inventory movement on and off-site, and fulfilling customer metric reporting
- Inventory management-related functions such as monitoring slow-moving and dead inventory, conduct cycle counting, yearly physical inventories, and reporting
- Purchasing functions including back order reporting and expediting, direct factory shipments, 3rd party support, managing quotes, document control, records maintenance, and resolving open invoices or pricing issues
- Shipping coordination activities such as shipping customer material, handling routine issues, operating basic warehouse equipment, entering shipping information into the customer computer system, and equipment inspections
- Handling hazardous material and preparing shipping documentation and packaging requirements
