As a Shift Leader at Tesco, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of our stores, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the store team, ensuring that they are working together to provide exceptional customer service and maintain high standards of store operations. This includes coordinating the store team to deliver an easy, fuss-free shopping experience for customers, supporting colleagues in their daily priorities, and taking regular breaks. Additionally, you will be responsible for opening and closing the store, completing duty cover, and making sure the store is always clean, tidy, and well-presented. The estimated salary for this role is £15,000-£18,000 per year, depending on location and experience.

Your Key Responsibilities
As a Shift Leader at Tesco, your key responsibilities will include:
  • Coordinating the store team to deliver exceptional customer service
  • SUPPORTING COLLEAGUES IN THEIR DAILY PRIORITIES AND TAKING REGULAR BREAKS
  • Opening and closing the store, and completing duty cover
  • Making sure the store is always clean, tidy, and well-presented
