There is an exciting opportunity for a compassionate, dynamic senior leader to take up the role of Head of Operations for Addictions and Homeless Services.

You will be responsible for the delivery of a safe and high-quality addictions and homelessness services that is both centralised inpatient care and partnership community services over a number of GM localities. You will lead and continue to develop a strong SLT and well established community partnerships to deliver well governed and value for money services within this competitive environment.

You will be part of a supportive and connected Care Group, with a clear vision of what needs to be achieved in this arena.

Accountable to the Chief Operating Officer and responsible to the Associate Director of Operations, as part of the locality Care Group, the post holder will provide and deliver operational management and leadership for their designated Locality.

The post holder will have an agreed portfolio of services, and in conjunction with the Associate Director of Operations, other Care Group Leads, Lead Clinicians and Service Managers, they will ensure services are of the highest quality.

Leading a large team, the post holder will provide line management supervision and support to Service Managers, Lead Clinicians and other team members as required.

As a Head of Operations you will ensure services are place based, locally informed, meet the needs of local populations and provide the best possible care. Developing and maintaining positive relationships with Commissioners and other key stakeholders.

In conjunction with the Associate Director of Operations the post holder will positively contribute to the strategic development of the Trust, ensuring best practice and learning is disseminated across the organization and that services are delivered within the GMMH quality framework, supporting the continued success of the organisation in delivering high quality mental health and substance misuse services.

Greater Manchester Mental Health (GMMH) Foundation Trust employs over 6,400 members of staff, who deliver services from more than 160 locations.
